Project Overview

The AHL (Akwai Hero's League) is a pro league for impact. There are 16 teams in 16 cities and competitors earn points for making progress on personal goals (internal impact) and by working on philanthropic community projects (external impact).

Problem

The main issue is the broad purpose of the website. It doesn’t give a clear idea of what purpose or value it brings to the user when first visiting the site. I believe there is a lot of inconsistencies with the design and branding that may bring confusion to a first-time visitor.

Solution

The goal is to create a website that is visually friendly, improves the user experience and addresses the design issues. This website should increase the user engagement, improve design system, and visual design.

User Research

Survey

For the start of my research process, I started off with a survey to find what users are wanting or interested in seeing in Akwai. I mostly wanted to find user behaviors and pain points.

In the survey, I divided it into two sections, demographics and user behaviors / pain points. It included a total of 8 questions.
